Description

Menorca is a mycological paradise waiting to be discovered. This is the view of “Bolets de Menorca”, a family-run business dedicated to mushroom cultivation 365 days a year. They opened the doors of their farm to offer a unique, dynamic and fun experience, and in 2024 they were awarded the prize for the best rural project in Spain at the Tierra de Oportunidades 2024 awards. Furthermore, the experience is listed by SEGITTUR as one of the best agricultural experiences in the country.

You’ll learn every detail of how mushrooms are cultivated throughout the year and about Menorca’s rich mycological heritage. The guided tour consists of three parts:

An introduction to mycology, so that we can learn about and discover all the processes that take place in nature through videos and images.

A tour of the facilities, following the entire process, from the laboratory, through the production areas and our amazing indoor forest, ending in the workshop, where you will learn about the production processes.

A final tasting session featuring one of our products, prepared in original and unusual ways, combined with other local produce and paired with local wine, beer and soft drinks. We will sample one of the 15 dishes prepared using Menorcan mushrooms.
